  Ljunghusen GK
Course facts: Ljunghusen GK, links and heathland course by the Baltic Sea. Relatively difficult if you do not stick to the fairway, as the heather that lines all the fairways is very troublesome. Host for international and national tournaments. Beautiful scenery.

HISTORY
Ljunghusen is one of Sweden's oldest golf clubs. The club was formed in 1932 and in 1965 became the first club in the country to have 27 holes. Ljunghusen is one of the few links courses in Sweden, built on a foundation of sand from the time when this formed the seabed.

The course is usually playable all year round thanks to the porous and permeable sandy soil. The course is situated in a nature reserve and is beside a protected wetland heath. Several of the holes are just a few metres from the white sandy beaches of the Baltic Sea.
